Open the GCash app, tap Profile, then choose Verify Now to start.

Tap Get Started, read the reminders, and enter the 6-digit code sent to your number.
Make sure your personal details match your ID, then scan your selected ID clearly.
Complete the selfie scan in good lighting with a clean, simple background.
Submit your application and wait for an SMS update—many users receive an update within about 3 days.
If your status stays pending, check the app screen and continue any incomplete steps.
For some cases, GCash may ask for additional documents—submit them within the in-app timeframe to avoid restarting.
Use an original, valid, and non-expired government-issued ID; damaged or unreadable IDs often cause rejection.
Avoid blurry photos, glare, shadows, or covering your face during the selfie scan.
Common fixes: retake photos in brighter light, remove hats or masks, and keep your face fully visible.
Accepted IDs commonly include Passport, Driver’s License, PhilHealth ID, UMID, Postal ID, and other government IDs.
Scanned or photocopied IDs are usually not accepted, except where the app allows National ID submissions.
